I had only met Sarah and Dan previously on FaceTime as they booked me when we were still in Lockdown last year so were unable to meet in person at the time so it was so nice to actually get to meet them recently and learn more about them whilst capturing some lovely photos for them and getting them used to being photographed.
They chose Hill Head as the location for their engagement shoot because of the variety in backgrounds that it provides with the beach huts, the sea, the little harbour and then the haven just up the road. They had also seen one of my other blog posts of an engagement shoot that I had done at the same location and thought that it would be a great place for their own shoot. Sarah also brought a couple of outfit choices and cardigans to give variety of looks to the photos and Dan added on his jacket as it got very chilly towards the end of the shoot as the sun went down. In my opinion he did very well to leave it off as long as he did because it was so windy and I was personally freezing!
I really enjoyed getting to know Sarah & Dan and capturing some memories for them at their windy Engagement Shoot at Hill Head and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at The Montagu Arms tomorrow! See you in the morning Sarah! 🙂
