Vision and goal setting workshop for creative businesses
Yesterday I had the pleasure of driving to sunny Dorset and attending the Vision and goal setting workshop for creative businesses with the super talented OH NO Rachio and Els Pontin Coaching. I had such a great day, it was lovely to meet other small business owners and have some great conversations with like minded people!
I know Els and Rach through working at Apple and they are brilliant at what they do. This was their first workshop and it proved to be a great success all round! In the morning we were setting goals and looking at the bigger picture with our businesses with Els, this was so useful and made me really think…It’s actually quite hard to put down your true thoughts and feelings on paper! After a morning of brain training we broke for lunch and Els had whipped up a yummy butternut squash soup (which I’m going to have to steal the recipe for), a salad and warm baguette and then an incredible crumble to finish 🙂 I was so full after, I could barely breathe but the food was so yummy!
In the afternoon it was Rachel’s turn to entertain and this was done in the form of vision board creating. After being shown Els and Rachel’s own beautiful vision boards, which they use daily; we were each given a large white board with dry wipe pen and lots of pretty things to decorate it with, including inspiring quotes to create our own.
All in all it was a great day and I met a fantastic bunch of ladies to network with and will definitely keep in touch. The weather was also lovely so it was nice to sit outside in the sun for a bit.
