New logo for Lucylou Photography
So this month I decided to have a bit of a business revamp and create a new logo for Lucylou Photography as I have had the old logo for almost 3 years and thought it was time for a re-brand to freshen it up a bit.
After hours and hours of playing around developing my logo design, I came up with this after a little bit of creative criticism from the original design from my fellow wedding photographer friends. I’m really happy with it and feel that it represents me and my brand well as it is simple and current, plus I love flowers and water colour art as well as the pretty script fonts that are available to purchase online.
I also ordered some stickers to put on my packaging etc this afternoon and they arrived today within less than 24 hours after I submitted the design and gave the print go ahead…Now that is good customer service for you! I love it when a company exceeds my expectations as this rarely happens in business, but is something that I aim to do with every wedding I shoot as I love to serve and care for my clients.
I hope you like the new look to my branding and next on my list of things to do is update my photos on the ‘About Me’ page as these are also now 3 years old and I would like to get some new images taken as my style has changed a bit and to show off my pets too! I am also currently in the process of designing a wedding guide that will help me communicate useful information with my clients to help prepare them for their special day and give an insight into the way I work on the day of the wedding as well as show case some of my images of course. Can’t wait to finish this and share it with my upcoming clients!
So there’s lot’s going on in Lucylou photography land at the moment and I’ve started off the season with some amazing weddings with lovely couples. 2017 is my busiest year yet with 42 weddings and I’m so excited to shoot the remaining 36, starting with Charlotte & Paul’s wedding at Christchurch Harbour Hotel tomorrow!
