Forest portrait shoot
Ross & Charlotte’s forest portrait shoot at Kite’s Croft Nature Reserve
Last month I decided that it was about time that I had a promo film made up for my business, showcasing how I work and showing a bit of my personality. I thought it would be a good idea to be filmed whilst doing an engagement style shoot to demonstrate how I approach photographing couples and give an insight to the way I work. A forest seemed like the best place to do the shoot as my couples often like to have their engagement session in the forest as it creates a beautiful, natural backdrop for the photos and is a bit more private for those who are a bit nervous in front of the camera and do not want the possibility of an audience in a busy public place. I obviously needed a couple for my promo shoot, so I called upon Ross & Charlotte, one of my lovely wedding couple’s from last year, as we had a total blast doing their photos on the wedding day and laughed your heads off throughout, so I knew that they’d be the perfect couple to feature in my promo film. They did not disappoint and we had a lot of fun again on the session, plus it was lovely to catch up with them both and meet their fur babies, who also feature in some of the photos. They also told me some super exciting news, which I can now reveal as they’ve done their Facebook announcement…They’re expecting! So happy for them both, such an exciting time! We incorporated a couple of photos of their hands in a heart shape on Charlotte’s tummy to indicate the pregnancy for their Facebook announcement. I’m genuinely over the moon for them!
