Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking Engagement Photos / doing a Pre-wedding shoot for the lovely Ben & Laura at Chilworth Manor, Hampshire. It was a glorious day with the sunshine and all the beautiful spring flowers in bloom, adding lots of colour to the engagement photos and making them look pretty with the lovely pinks of the blossom. I had never been to Chilworth Manor before but it is a stunning venue, Ben and Laura really have picked a beautiful place to get married.
I first met Laura at the end of 2012 when I photographed her little boy, Zach at The Three Bears play Cafe in Woolston with my pop up studio, I was doing portrait photo shoots for a few full days in Novemeber in December. Luckily, she loved the photos of Zach from the portrait session so much that she messaged me at the end of last year asking if I was available for her wedding. I was thrilled to be asked and was pleased that I was available for Laura’s wedding.
For their engagement photos they wanted to bring along the kids and have family photos too so I had lots of fun chasing round the children and trying to get them all to let me take their photos as Ayla had just woken up and wasn’t really in the mood to have her photo taken, bless her. We soon had her smiling and enjoying posing though when bribed by mummy and daddy with Ice Cream and me chasing her around the gardens! Josh and Zach were also very cute and although Zach was very quick on his feet I managed to capture some lovely, natural shots of him.
Hope you like the photos Ben and Laura, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in August!
